SUBMISSIONS POLICY

DreamCoat Films does not accept or consider unsolicited scripts, treatments, pitches, formats or other creative material.

Why

We develop our own original projects and work with writers and directors through existing relationships and representation. To protect both you and us from misunderstandings about where ideas come from, we do not read unsolicited material.

If you send us material

  • It will not be read or reviewed, and will be deleted or returned unopened.

  • Sending it does not create any relationship, any duty of confidentiality, or any entitlement to payment or credit.

  • We may already be developing, or may later develop, projects that are similar to material sent to us. Any such projects are created independently.

Invited submissions

We consider material only when we have invited it, usually through a recognised agent, manager or lawyer.

Open calls and labs

When we run open calls, such as the Matchmakers Global South Lab, please apply through the published process. The terms of that call will apply.
